You never said you wanted one... I would have held on to it until the next TRS meet for you.
DAMNIT

Ok. So now I need to add a "BUY.THIS AND ILL BUY IT FROM YOU" link to my signature

This is the 2.9 Cologne I have been stealing ideas from for my build. I decided to go blower instead of turbo. 535hp at the rear wheels on 177 cubic inches.

Same block, same top and bottom end (yes, I'm running a twin TB as well).

Are you intercooling yours?

Yessir. Benz C230 core support is very close to those in a first gen, so it's intercooler fits directly under the radiator, same as it did in the benz. Only reason it's not on yet is I'm having difficulty fitting the alternator on the drivers side of the engine. Tried a few different ways, but nothing that works yet.

Worst case I'll drive it off the rear driveshaft.

Alternator brackets for a v-belt system can't be hard to make AT ALL.

Correct. Time has been a factor. Made a few attempts not long ago, but haven't had the time to get back to it thanks to a POS F350 ?

I said 500 pounds being a smart ass. I don't know what one weighs. I've moved one around when doing my fuel pump and it felt like 3-400 pounds (comparing to what my 4 wheeler weighs) BUT the point of that statement was that it's not just the bed but everything you keep in the bed too. I have tools, straps, some extra fluids, a few chains, and a cap so mine would easily weight 500 pounds. Either way... A truck without a bed doing a burnout does not impress me as there is hardly ANY weight on the tires.. That's as impressive as doing a burnout on ice and bragging about it.

My 09 was the last vehicle I was able to track down paper factory service manuals for (cost over $200 bucks for the set used). My 2017 and 2019 only have downloads available, and they still want around 100 each.
