Can RCA cables be hooked into a YPbPr connector?

No! The Yellow, Red and White cables are video, right audio, and left audio respectively. The YPbPr takes the video signal and splits it in three for better quality.
You would have to get a converter... which will make the picture crappy since you can't make a crummy signal better. I'm assuming you have an HDTV?
What other input options are available on your TV? S-Video can work with a bit of tweaking. Do you have anything (VCR's) plugged into the TV that have RCA (YRW) hookups on it?
