Anyone have any idea how hard it is to change a blown heater core in a 1995 Audi A6? I know in the older Rangers and BIIs it's a snap to change but I have no idea how difficult it could be in a car, much less a foreign make... have someone asking if I can change it for them for less than the local garage wants to charge them ($500) but I don't want to say yes if it's gonna be getting me in over my head...

I did one in an older 5000 about ten years ago. It sucked. I would assume that an A6 would be either the same, or worse. It took the better part of a day but that was without a manual.

I am pretty sure you have to access the core from inside the cab on an A6 which could require some dash disassembly. Audis are nice cars, but I wouldn't want to have to work on them for a living.
