AOAA - November 11th 2023

The cabin has been rented. I'll arrive on Friday the 10th and leave Sunday the 12th. The cabins are apparently only 2 miles away from the address given on the AOAA website.

The liability waiver has been completed and I made a single day reservation for the AOAA on the 11th.

According to Google, I'm 4.5 hours away. I don't want to be waking up super early to make the drive and get there on time. Then be not at my best for the trail riding. I figure staying over night before and after is best.

Yeah, that would be a long day of just driving out there and back. Let alone getting bounced around on the trail all day.

I’m 3 hrs away and I usually just drive out and back in the same day. It’s a long day, but not that bad. I’m still up in the air about what I’m doing.

All the PA back road highway are the worst. I usually run out 78 west, 61 north into Frackville, stop at the Dutch Kitchen, just north of 81, for breakfast, then get back on 61 into Shamokin, finally 125 to AOAA.

I could cut a good amount of time off the trip by taking 901 out of Pottsville, but then I don’t get to stop for a good breakfast.

The great thing about the timing is with the way our schedule works and where the holiday falls, I don't even have to take any vacation time to get the Friday off.

First… it looks like it’s going to be a degree or 2 above freezing Friday night, I don’t think I’ll be camping. I’ll probably get a cabin.

Second… so your Dodge tried to catch a Subaru, drive your Ranger there and jump in with one of us for the trail ride.

well...considering those tickets were bought right after the show in jersey last august....and the august show was bought before the Carlisle event being scheduled....i am going with.... yall a bunch of muhtallycaww haters...

i did not think i was going to be able to go home and for some reason thought it was after thanksgiving when this came up.



i am up here in tunk....you are more then welcome to come take me fishing...
