Anyone know the difference between 94 and 95-96 4.0 headers?

So i just found out that my passenger side stock header has a crack in it.

Rather than taking it off and welding up the crack or cracks or buying a oem one I decided to put stainless tubular headers on.

I found a set for $230 that look decent and have great reviews. The only problem is that it fits a 90-94 ranger and i have a 96. The company does not make a 95-96 set.
I checked Gibson's website to confirm that there is a different part number for 95-96.

Im thinking that it might be something simple like an extra o2 sensor or maybe a different exhaust flange? I have a welder so i could fix something like that pretty easily but just wanted to know if anyone knows exactly off hand what i might run into. Or if anyone knows if it might be a possible difference in the heads and that flange is different?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thank You

Well the manifold gaskets are the same, so the difference isn't at the head.

I think they had the same transmissions too? So i dont think there is a clearance issue there

I put a set of JBA headers on my 91 and 93 truck that were for [IIRC] 96 or even newer. There was a bung on the drivers side. I found a cap and plugged it. The thread was something like 22mmx1.25. Check in my racetruck thread for exact thread size and pitch.

Any EGR differences between those years?

Any EGR differences between those years?

90-94 federal emissions trucks did not have EGR, I know for sure that 93-94 California emissions trucks and all trucks 95-98 do, somewhere around the late part of 98 onward they went back to no EGR until the end of the OHV 4.0
