Anyone know of any good Jeep sites? Brother just bought a Rubicon.

I can tell it was never maintained just by looking at it, Bro. Something maintained should last and when you notice something is starting to wear, it is time to replace it so it don't break!!!.....lol

Always look over your vehicle once a week and look harder before you wheel and when you return from wheeling it is time to look over it again.

Safety First!!!!

Not sure how you can tell it was never maintained by that one picture. Especially since everything has a light coating of mud from the trails. It's from the rust belt, and has 155k miles on it. I have been abusing it for the last 8k miles since I got it. I constantly flex the suspension out to the max, and drag it over rocks. Sorry you think having a suspension arm mount rip off the axle on the trail is a lack of maintainence. When it went, I heard the welds snap off the axle, and I had the suspension maxed out.

Still think thats from a lack of maintenence and not from abuse?

Are you serious right now? How the **** do you "maintain" a control arm bracket that is welded to the axle? Are you supposed to lay down a bead over the top of the factory welds every 50k miles? What a joke, bro!

Maybe it was in referance to the car.

When the nubs wear off the tires... time to send 'er down the road.

100%...YES!!!! Nah, Man....I am messing with you about the arm, Bro!!! I was making fun of how nasty your undercarriage is since you can't see if you need to check anything before you run off and drive it home. One thing about me and a lot of my buddies...we leave the house clean and come back clean. We look for anything that can lead to a serious issue after wheeling all day and night sometimes. We always find a place to wash the Jeeps or trucks before we head home. Now, if something is on a trailer that is different. We can clean it up and inspect it later. I think you got a lot of use out of that Jeep!! I am so sick of some idiots cursing Jeeps and 99% of them have never even sat in a Jeep. They are jealous because we can get in and take off the top and the doors and hit the trails and highways and really enjoy an amazing hell of a ride!!!
