Anyone ever make a "temporary" bed?

I used some 2x4’s, sheet of plywood , boat trailer lights with the converter box. Didnt run it long on either truck, was on the silver truck when I rolled it and was only on the blue truck long enough to go get my 4.10 axle from a junkyard 15 miles from home. still have all the pieces, just not as a assembled bed. Did have mudflaps both in front and in back of the rear tires. There’s certainly times when a flatbed is better than a factory bed. If the bed from the silver truck wasnt good (happened to be off truck when I rolled it) I might of just left the blue truck as a flatbed. The original “blue” bed became the ranger trailer along with the rear frame of the rolled silver truck.
