Anybody reload?

I've been looking at midway to see what current bullet prices are. Anybody ever use Rainier leadsafe bullets? They are super cheap compared to most other standard bullets, and i'm sure their quality isn't the most perfect out there...but the reviews seem to be pretty damn good. I may end up buying a bunch for .30 carbine, .40 and .45...see how it goes.

Glad to see there's not only a decently large group of gun owners on the site, but also a good amout of reloaders too! Awesome!

Midway used to be an awesome place. Still is but shipping used to be free.

I reload, its a love hate relationship LOL. Had a good size of ammo and all I do now is buy a 5 lbs of powder and primers and bullets and am good for a while(depends on what am reloading) where it makes a huge cost savings is in my .357 loads. right now i can load 100-200 rounds for the price of a factory box of 50.

High powered rifle rounds is where the savings really add up quick. When you are paying $30-$50/box if 20 for factory, reloading custom rounds saves money and usually produces more acurate rounds. Doesn't make much sense to reload 5.56 or 7.62 x 51 for simi autos with surplus ammo around. Case prep takes too long and I doubt if you could reload any cheaper than you could buy unless y ouare talking 1000's of rounds.

I have a shotgun reloader for 12ga but have never used it. Just don't use a shotgun that much.
