Any seat recommendations for a 6ft guy in a single cab

Stock bench. The exploder buckets I installed in my 99 single cab lost about an inch of leg room. I know in a 93 it will be worse because the cab is not a deep as 98 on up Rangers. But look around perhaps you will find something that will work for you. Just as an idea maybe take a look at older BMW or Mercedes seats at the junk yard. Those seats look to have a shorter seat pad to me which may work for you. The only down fall would be you will have to figure out how to mount them:icon_welder:, but I have no doubt it can be done. Good luck.

I'm right at 6' and my 60/40 does just fine. The PO was 6'3" and he kept whacking his head on the coat hook, so he took it out - and threw it away.

Doofus...

Your only 6ft......... how in the hell are you having issues???

I'm 6'4 275.......... I've always driven a reg cab (an 88 in highschool, and now a 97 I've owned for 4 years..... both floor shifts)

I just now got an extended cab and a bronco....... it's pretty roomy comparitively but I drove the 97 to FL, to MS......... AL....... never had any issues.

My step-dad is only 6'2 and he has really long legs....... he hated my truck, Theres not a lot of options in that situation other than to get cruise control and a hand brake, or upgrade to ext cab or b2.

Camaro Seats will fit in a Ranger though if your looking for alternatives.

I'm about 6' too...used to an extended cab, but borrowed a single-cab once and put about 600 miles on it over four days.

The guy who owned it is a couple inches shorter than me, and he had stacked some stuff behind the driver's seat, so it wouldn't go quite all the way back. I removed it, and that gained me enough room to be comfortable. (Or, at least, as comfortable as I was gonna get. It was a stripped-down XL, and that vinyl 60/40 is not quite so nice as my XLT. :( )

I'd recommend a seat that's attached to a full cab.

i like having my leggs less bent when driving. i love driving my wifes taurus. i drove a buddies extended cab ranger and i want one now, but with saving for a down payment for buying a house buying a differant truck is out of the question.

Lower the floorboards........... if you are very good at fab work, it can be done.

same here... i'm 6'1" (6' 2" with the hair haha) and no problems with my 60/40 bench on my single cab.

If you're looking for aftermarket, I've been eying some MasterCraft Baja RS. I've heard really good things about them, I'm probably going to invest in a set myself.

I'm about 5 8 and drive a single cab and it's cramped,,I can only last an hour or two befor my legs get sore and cramped. No way in hell I'd drive that thing 600 miles. My buddies about 6' and his left knee hits the turn signal when in the left position.
