Ive finally got the last TopGear vehicle from Oxford diecast the indestructible Hilux. I was starting to think it didn't exist honestly.. I had eagle eyes on eBay looking for one for 11 months before this one popped up. Box isn't perfect but damn I'm happy..

They've chosen to release it in their "Auto club" series interestingly enough.. the series only sees one vehicle release a year.. but it's usually a repeat casting. This is the first time they've chosen a brand new casting as the yearly release.

Nice looking casting.. not too hot on the wheel fitment though.. excited to see what else they do with it.

Johnny lightning also has a couple new '87 rangers this year.. alpine green with gold STX graphics & black with silver STX graphics.. (last two on the page)

As I was staging stuff to wrap last night I notice the new green STX mentions the 2.9 on the card, now I am curious if they actually changed the engine. The green and white one of 2022 very clearly had a 2.8. Chassis is still 2wd which is unusual for a STX...

Did you end up getting your answer? I'm curious as well.

I'm one of the weirdos who pretty much leaves all their diecasts packaged lol.. at least ones I really like. Ones I don't like so much I'll tear off the card.. doesn't make any sense but neither does a 35 year old man buying himself little toy cars I guess lol.

I haven't gotten the hood to open yet. Im not sure it will.

Gotta give mad props to Santa for getting both of you your own little rangers lol. You keep yours stuck on the card or do you open em up?
