Any fastener alternatives available for these roof rack bolts?

I have a few plastic knobs that deteriorated over the years on my 1990 Bronco II.
Was curious if there were any fastener alternatives available?

Thanks

If they're the same setup as on the 1st gen Explorers, they are just a 6mm metric fastener that's screwed into little square threaded plates. I imagine you could find some generic knobs with whatever thread you want somewhere online.

I wanted my roof rack to be much lower to the roof than the stock roof rack rails allow it to be so I made my own cross bars and bolted them to those little square plates with the bolts that hold first gen door mirrors on - they are either stainless or chrome and have a big rounded head that takes a Torx bit. I love those bolts, they are so handy for stuff like that.

McMaster Carr would probably be the place to look for replacement knobs

Will look for some generic stainless fasteners...
Thanks for the replies.
