found pry marks on my slider window today.... is there something I could do to to keep an amateur from stealing my truck??

Get one of those flashing led thing that stick on the bottom of the dash. It make them think you have a security system. Maybe they won't try.

I'd get some of those magnet based home alarms that go on with double stick tape. They can be had for just a dollar. Three sets. One on each door and the slider.

Edit:

Something like this: DOOR-WINDOW-ALARM

Put a double relay on the inertia switch wire that supplies 12v to fuel pump.

Then a push button switch out of site but in your reach.

The reason for the double relay is so you don't have to remember to turn off the fuel pump power when you leave the truck.
When you turn off the key the power to fuel pump(relays) is automatically turned off.
When you turn key back on fuel pump power stays off, until you push the button one time.

You can do it with a simple toggle switch but you WILL FORGET to turn fuel pump off, lol.
