Another FW 78/79 dana 44 swap

Well, maybe for the CO's, but my fox airshocks are rated to 500 psi, I plan to fill em to 450 and slowly drain them off til I get the height I want...but I would like to get an adjustable regulator so I can dial it in, as well as have other applications for when it is needed. No one around us has the setup to fill airshocks/CO's, and we have a few of us in our crew that are starting to use them...I already have most of the parts needed for the kit, just need an adjustable high pressure regulator now....

Coilovers you don't want to run over 200psi, and we were running 150psi of nitrogen in this racing and we took some big hits and it hardly bottomed out at all

Nice Toyota .

150psi is ok but what about using co2 ? Also think the coils are 225lb mains(lowers) and 175lb tenders(uppers) . All 4 coils are 12" .

I really don't know about useing co2, but you could check out dezertrangers.com and get a better answer

ive read somewhere that it works but there was something about it reacting different. i dont know...tried to search it on pirate but they were down this morning.

Yea I heard someone saying they were filling theres with co2, but on race day they were gunna switch to N, so im not sure what it does though

I need all the help I can get .

The plan was to ream the knuckles to put the tie rod ends on top but they are already reamed to fit in the bottom . This wouldn't be a big deal just easier to hit the on the rocks but the y-link end is reamed to work on top .

I drilled mine all the way through, then welded in a reducer to run a 1/2" bolt, and ran my drag link on top of my track rod on the passenger knuckle. I ran heims though. I have heard if you buy the good heims, they will last a while, but they make a lot of noise as soon as the teflon wears out. Kage has the same issue as well where they make a lot of noise
