Well technically they're illegal due to the fact that A)you're a moron and don't retorque the bolts after you run them for a bit, or B) you weld them yourself and the whole inner ring breaks off and bad things happen. But as far as I'm concerned these are bead"looks".

thats what i was gonna say they may not allow them but with all the fakes out there most ppl cant tell the difference unless ur real unlucky and get that cop whos also a wheeler on weekends

Yeah... I haven't had trouble yet, but got a warning for my tires sticking out... which is understandable. Here in BC, we have a law that the entire tread width must be covered when you look at it from the top. HA! Good luck, I'm like 4-5" out... whoops.
I know what I am doing for flares, but y'all have to stay tuned. And, I don't know how much of common knowledge this is, but now that I've been done school for the last few months, I am back to a limited supply of tools. AKA no welder. So what's cool is, a guy I am good friends with owns a local 4x4 shop, Alsek Spring and Fab. I've been supporting his business for a couple years now, and he just asked me if I was interested in being a shop sponsored rig. Can I get a hell yeah?! It's cool, because not only do I get major discounted parts (cha-ching) but I have free reign over the shop when there is a free bay. You may have seen some ASF decals on my rig, be prepared to see that name around.
Oh, and I have some more wheelin' pics from New Year's Eve, and also last weekend. They're small, but they get the point across.

Aaaand... here's me finding out the road gets REAL skinny... Some shoveling and one tug that really did nothing and I got out under my own power. Yeah Bronco!

Thanks guys! 'Nother small update from today... gutted the interior, went to town with some Scotch-Brite and voila, shot some bedliner all throughout the interior. Looks pretty slick. Didn't get pictures today as I was in a hurry to get it done in time to drive it to work. Pics tomorrow!

Nope, for now I'm using fiberglass reinforced nylon or "filon" as flares. There will be something fabbed up In the near future I'm hoping that will replace that though...
