I have a couple old shop radios that won't hold a frequency. And when trying to tune a station in its really hard not to overshoot the station. Just as bad going back. Any tips, tricks, general knowhow on how to work with these? They are from the cassette era.
Thanks.

Does it get better as it warms up?

I know crystal tuners are bad for temperature changes causing drift...

I don't notice it getting better when warmed up.
