Alternators

Just put in a 130 amp alternator from an explorer on mine a few weeks ago. Works great! It dropped right in no problems. I have a 96 2.3 as well

Ps cost me like 150 at a parts store with lifetime warranty. You could probably get one from a junkyard for 25/35 dollars.

Do you remember what engine the explorer you used for reference had?
I am going to try to get from the junkyard only because i just put a new alternator on about half a year ago and i can keep it as a back-up.
