Almost Died Yesterday...Autozone Value Craft wheel bearings disintegrated...

glad to hear you're ok, but i gotta say i work at autozone and i wouldnt put Valucraft windshield washer fluid in someone's car that i hated.....let alone something important like brake pads or wheel bearings. i refer to it as "Value-crap" while i am being paid by autozone to sell the shit. people are constantly bringing back valucraft stuff back because it breaks, doesnt fit right or just doesnt work

Found out first hand that Valu-crap brake drums are complete shit. I bought a set and they didn't fit over the shoes. Took them back and compared them to the Duralast drums and there was a visible difference in size.

Not to thread jack, but what do you think of Duralast? Its Autozone's brand, but it comes with a warranty unlike Valuecraft. And tends to hold up as well as name brand stuff from my experience.

Alot of the Duralast stuff is actually re-boxed "higher end" stuff. I have several friends that work at the local Autozoo, and they have NEVER given me crap over warrenty swaps, and have actually let me look a the differences in the parts if I was even remotely wondering. One of them has even gone so far as to "upgrade" things for other people without a price bump, because HE was not happy with the quality of the Valuecrap stuff. The Valuecrap is just that, CRAP!
