Almost Complete

Took a run to south of Cookeville, TN today and picked up a set of Irok 37/12.50/15!
Also got promising news on the tele today! Up at 6am tomorrow to drive to Dawson Springs to check it out! Gonna be a tight schedule, but might make it! A little grind here, cut there, weld this, bolt that, measure two three times! See how it turns out!

Oh, i kept my mouth shut on the first thing that fell through, but someone else didn't. Maybe he can this time! He knows who he is!!
:dunno::dunno:

Brother,
First off, you're just trying to get a peek at the secret! Remember I'm an ole hound just like you!
I'm leaving here 6-7 to be there 8 or so. Have time to look and horsetrade. :icon_thumby:
I got to get back here, shower, change and go play GI Joe at a Chaplain brief by 12:30. Also, hate to say it, gotta cut my runnin around down a little it's chewing up them greenbacks faster than Uncle Sam will direct deposit them in my account every 2 weeks. I ain't goin to starve (don't believe me I could tell ya my belt size) but throwing them to the oil company ain't what I had in mind. Also need it for fabricatin and modifyin!!
I'm not sure I'm departing/evictin the 33 Swampers. Yeah I plan on running the BFG ATs daily or when not wheelin, but them 33s would be good for runnin/pullin that hay wagon with them 4.88s when I retire. Creep through the pasture. Heck I could probably tie down the steerin wheel, let 'er crawl, jump out and load my own dog gone hay. :icon_idea:
Not made a decision yet, :dunno: so I'll keep it in mind.
I can give ya a buzz when I fly thru Cadiz on the way there as soon as I get to a tele reception area.
How far are ya from DS?

20 some odd miles.....

and i already know what ya lookin at........:D

Might have another addition soon, got my eye on a chatterbox for Almost Complete! Clocks ticking down and I'm sniping! Get you're ear plugs out!

cool....a CB always comes in handy.....

l8r, John

all i can say is ......WOW...

David had 5 EB's sitting on a pad by his house......5 more in the woods with at least a dozen frames......

under his house was an unbelieveable amount of doors, windshields, hoods , tailgates, core supports......it just goes on....

anyways....Jay scored a complete EB for his SAS.....maybe even a future resto project....

l8r, John

And a 9" rear for the swap too!
Seen a little bit of EB stuff today.

Well I picked up the following goodies today;
Sand blast attachment for the air compressor, a bucket of media blast, some prep n etcher, a few brushes and a case of black spray paint.
Tomorrow I'll be cuttin off old tires with a sawzall, blasting 4 15x10 & 4 15x8 ole schools steel wagon wheels, prep & etchin them, them trying to lightly lay on some paint. Never been a paint guy so I'll try to take it easy this time and let 'em bake in the sun between coats. Got to get them wheels ready to go on that 44 & 9 that'll make it's way here sometime this weekend. Oh, I'll be having a few of these :beer::beer: while RangerSVT tries to get his A/C flowing with the windows down going as fast as he can in his new work truck!

I got more miles, look better and run better than that ole "Hoopty" as your mechanic calls it!
Did you get that plumbing work done last night or was you too poopered to pipe it? :icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl:

We picked up the '77 Bronco! Should be pulling out the DANA44 sometime this week.
Installed a CB antenna mount and a hi lift jack mount to a side tool box.
Looking forward to getting that axle out, stripped, cleaned and built!
Thanks to RangerSVT for picking it up w/his dually & trailer and Railman for all the assistance.
Spent last night and today with Railman. Went to Interlake with Railman and we tore up some trails. Got some videos and will post probably tomorrow.
Greg, good to see ya again!

Gears, gauges

Took a little putt down to franklin, TN today with RangerSVT and picked up a set of 5.13s from Randy's R&P! Ordered the mini spool yesterday from Summit, installed new axle seals, and e-brake parts on a disc brake 8.8. Tomorrow it'll be going in and taking a secret maiden voyage! HAHA :icon_thumby:
We also stopped in at PAP and found a aftermarket trans cooler on an F150 with AN fittings and stainless braided line that'll go on RangerSVT with the V8 swap. I got a factory trans cooler off a BII that I'm going to use as a power steering cooler, also got another cooler can't remember right now where that's going on RangerSVT along with the case of filters he's going to be runnning!
Also scored a somewhat stripped full width 44 ($49 & change) out of a Bronco, that'll be going into the front of the 87 BII I still have to go get in OH!
Also installed a double gauge pod on the Driver's pillar with Auto Meter C2 Water temp and OP a few days ago. Dang C2 gauges are so bright with that back lit blue! Have to turn the dash lights all the way down to dim them. Going to have to install some blue LEDs into the dash light to make them match & fix this problem. :icon_idea:
Yeah I know everyone going to want pics, I'll get a Round to it.
