Somebody wanted pics after my hip replacement post. Well here's a pneumatic broaching technique you tube video, which they used to do mine! Check out the air dril with rasp to ream out the femur, the air hammer to install the implant down my femur which goes to about 4" above my knee! Looks like some stuff we use to work on trucks!

will be at the Toys for Tots Interlake ride Sat...

and that could possibly be the last ride for my Ranger....unless i go to the Badlands Toys for Tots ride in Dec.....

Well I'm not sure I can bounce around in the cab yet! And you honestly think I'm letting the crazy coon ass hammer my truck around TB?
And without the rear locker in yet and 5.13s in the rear and the 3.73s still in the front, I'd have to get him to pull the rear drive shaft out and run front wheel drive!

yeah, the rear of my frame is pretty rusty....and is starting to look like swiss cheese...

so i have started looking for a replacement frame....which i think i might have found this past weekend.....

Dana 44

So I get to RangerSVTs today and there's a EB DANA44 sitting on some jack stands being stripped!
After all that was done, RangerSVT and Sam moved it outside onto some sawhorses so I could clean it up with an abrasive wheel and the grinder. Well that thing wore out real quick so I put some more revolutions on Rick Sr. wire wheel and hand grinder! Then I squirted it down with some "Prep & Etch". Stuff is pretty awesome, started eating away at all the crap I couldn't get to with the wire wheel. Will rinse and hit another coat tomorrow. Anybody wants to use the stuff better wear some rubber gloves and a face shield. I got some on my hands and overspray in my face. Stuff burns. Then we looked at the jug, it says "Phosphoric". Duh!
Tomorrow might also finally cut them fenders off at the factory flare line! Open up them wheel wells for the BFTs coming soon!
