Warning!

Don't tank up on frozen margaritas then go to Pull-a-part all day in 96 degree hint with RangerSVT and strip everything in the yard. My friggin head was pounding all day and I was operating at about 1/10 of full power. I had a blast stripping Ford 8.8 31 splines, center consoles out of exploders and wheels off old trucks and vans, and well can't remember what else we got must be the heat got to me.
Right now I'm sitting here after a shower, chomping down kiddie popsickle sticks, attempting recovery for another day!
Sure need to find that 73-77 DANA44 out of a early Bronco!

update

Well we located a DANA44 but have to wait, he's on vacation, should be able to have a look or pickup first part next week. Got a one piece driveshaft custom built from onetimearound drivelines in Boonville, IN. Tim is an awesome dude and rushed my order. The old two piece is out and will install one piece in the morning. We reassembled the DANA35 with the Powertrax lock-rite and installed it so I can make it to Turkey bay this weekend. We'll tear it all back apart as soon as we get the extra plates in the 8.8 disk brake rear end, install some 4.56, get the DANA44 and install whatever we figure out to put in along with 4.56. Also got to fab or order some spring perches to convert the 8.8 to spring over, fab/install shock towers and coil buckets unless we decide to go with the stock coil buckets. Probably not though. Also got to come up with a track bar mount. I got 2 sets of wheels the other day 15x8 & 15x10 and contacted Rob Benino at professional Powder Coating (he's right down the road, a member of MId South Pullers Assoc., has a pull tractor "international incident" and will do my sandblasting and coating as soon as I can get them old tires cut off the wheels (I ain't paying a tire shop to remove, hello Recon Tanto knife and sawzall).
Just in Ranger SVTs gravel driveway the Lock-rite in the front was locking and unlocking when we moved it out with rear drivesahft out. Engages & disengages quickly almost as quick as I turn the wheel, but step on the gas and it's lockin up! See how that works sat at TB and decide if I put on in the front or rear of the new SAS setup. Keeping options open. Also considerin hard going up for off-road tires to somewhere between 35-40" & sticking with the 33s on the road. Might mean going to 4.88 will see what transpires!!
RangerSVT has become one hell of a Brother witht he workin & parts runnin. Last night we was both up way past midnight due to parts traveling.

Looking forward to meetin Slo-Vo sat with all the extra luggage he's goin to bring along! Can't wait to meet the TANK and some others regular TBers!

Jay, I might have sold the entire 35 lockout to lockout, including the locker. If the guy is interested, He'll be PM'ing you about it, its another TRS member...I'm thinking we need to hit the metal shop next for some supplies and let your ranger sleep over his Big Bro's house a couple more nights

I ain't pullin no BS w/that 35. That diff case has got some stress fractures. And RangerSVT and I AIN"T removing those springs to remove the Powertrax lock-rite, to go flying all over the shop! I also have more than you can imagine for that 35; all new seals, slingers, bearings, u-joints, blah, blah.. Wasn't sure how everthing was so I went on a order spree from LMC before i had someone either tear into it or help me, and then say "you didn't bring me this or that" Needs a bolt welded onto the shock stud on the driver's side, but all the joints and seals in 'er now are good and doin what they supposed to do!
We can discuss 'er Sat. But she's stayin in there till I get my SAS ready and then in. And I don't get sidetracked on my projects and go to something else, so it shouldn't be long!
Then again me and RangerSVT aquire that thing you're workin on when you get bored, we'll just swap 'er in ourselves!!
