On the 5.0 that I just bought, there seems to be alot of vacuum lines and such. The guy I bought it from even said something about a "coffee can part" and smog emissions parts. This motor came from an 87 F-150 and its EFI-throttlebody. Are most of these parts necessary? I know that if the vacuum stuff is not working properly, then the motor runs like a chain smoker in a marathon(not very well), but is there anything that I should keep and that I should throw?
