Hi all.
I did the 2/3 drop on my 98 2wd with DJM 2" springs and flip rear. I used
2 1/4 degree camber bolts and it would not align to spec. (Maxed out). I contacted DJM they said to take the right upper control arm (I have stock arms with new ball joints) and flip the ball joint then install it on the left side. Do the same with the left and put it on the right side. He said it would give me more adjustment. Has anyone tried this and did it give more adjustment?
Thanks in advance.

Just a follow up.
I had asked the alignment guy if I could use something bigger than the 2 1/4 and he said the bolts were at the end of the slot in frame brackets. He said Ford specs allowed + or - 1 degree. My right wheel is 1.2 and left wheel is 1.3. He said if I rotate my tires every 3k miles I would never notice it. Fine and dandy for now but my concern is when the springs settle it will be more than 1.2 and 1.3.
My original question to DJM was are the DJM upper control arms longer than stock. Never answered that. I assumed no.
I emailed DJM 2 times to verify what he was saying and here is a copy and paste of his response.

#1-----Here is a cheap trick. If you reverse your ball joints and switch left and right it will get you more alignment.
#2-----When you take a look at it if you do this it will decrease the angle on the control arm and get you more positive alignment adjustment.
End quote.

If I knew for sure it would help I wouldn't mind doing at all. I'm retired and it is just a hobby truck and I like tinkering with it.
