Tried to level the rear end by jacking it up with the trailer =] Need new shackles for the back. Also thinking about doing line x all the way back to cover up that red and not have to worry about paint. Also getting 4.10 gears and a detroit for the rear end. Also wanting a new front bumper with a winch. Canopy also for camping, and lots more. I wish money grew on trees =[

Sorry i didnt have many pictures of the lift being installed, especially in the rear. Leafs are too easy to install anyways =] Ill have more pictures up soon!

Lookin great. Really dig those black KMC's. I think some bedliner would look great!

Yeah i got that set of KMC's cause they were on sale for a limited time. The wheels and tires were like 1400 bucks, huge dent in my pocket lol but im hoping the line x would look good, ive been trying to find someone who has had it done on here but no luck.

If the rear doesnt have an 8.8, I would put one in and not put money into a 7.5.

Looks good.

Im not worried about the rear end breaking, since i only really wheel in the snow, i am just worried about running 31's with the dana 28 up front. I will most likely throw a dana 35 up front before i break this one.

if you're not really planning to wheel, 31's on stock axles should be fine. but by all means, upgrade if you wanna upgrade. nice truck btw

I wont upgrade until i break this dana 28. I know they are not very strong, but correct me if im wrong, the Dana 28 is made to handle 31's? Im not worried, and if it breaks, it breaks, then ill pull a 35. And thanks for the comments!

Looking great man! I definitely wouldn't spend the money for gears in the D28. If you're going to regear, do yourself a favor, and snag a D35, and put the money in to that. You're gona snap axle shafts in that D28 with 31's if you're pushing it, guaranteed. The 7.5 should be fine though.

Good work. Keep it up!

I have seen stock tires break D28 shafts just in 4wd and the guy wasnt wheeling, just hauling a bit of fire wood at 5mph and took a turn and ripped the u-joint ear. Good thing I had my old D28 still and traded him a shaft for headers since all his JY were covered in snow.

I do agree, 31's plus D28 will break a shaft sooner or later. I wouldnt put any money into the turd of a D28. Theres a reason why ford upgraded later on down the road.

The first thing to go on the 7.5 will be the spider gears but should be fine for snow wheeling.

The D28 will have to be upgraded, the 7.5 im not worried about since they put them in mustangs. If it breaks, then ill put a 8.8 in, but until then ill go without it. Thanks for the advice though. Hopefully i can get to it soon.

I regret not going out and destroying my D28 but then again if I had, then I wouldnt have been able to get my headers either....but then again I would have gone out a froze my ass off in a JY to get an axle shaft too...

Haha yeah i always love carnage =] But if you got headers out of it thats a great deal.

Ya just got them puut on a couple weeks ago and they actually sound nice on a factory exhaust system but want more so going to play around with the exhaust system and see what that does.
