I read it in another thread but i cant seem to find it, but does anybody have the link or can tell me about cutting a bigger opening in the airbox rather than switching to a full-out K&N FIPK?

cutting holes in your air box is a bad idea. if you leave said holes open to the engine compartment, then youve just bypassed your factory true cold-air intake. on top of that, the stock intake will flow more air then your stock engine can pull...so enlarging it in any way will accomplish nothing.

Not exactly nothing....

It changes the sound.

But nothing for peak power or peak torque, certainly.

If you have time and effort to waste ... Find some WAX and spend the time and effort doing something that will actually do GOOD for your ride.
