I'm putting on headers and the end of the y pipe has a weird 3 bolted...1.5x2.5 inch kinda deal that should bolt up to my stock cats. But I was just thinking that I might as well go all out and do my complete exhaust. However, the aftermarket cats I've seen just have a say 2.5 inch round pipe input. Is there somewhere I can buy a "weird 3 hole thingy" to x.x inch pipe adaptor? Or do I have to make one myself. If everyones confused I will post a pic of what i mean. Also does an aftermarket high flow cat do a good enough job to not throw any codes? thanks

well i had the same problem. an the exhaust shop said they couldnt make one but thats bull sh**. the one thing people do is get a piece of 2.5 od pipe an oval it with a vise then slid it into that an weld it. or you can fab up your own oval adapter. one of my buddies did that to a flowmaster cat i just bought from him to eliminate the 2.5 od oval i had just slid in.

i have a high flow cat on my 92 with a 4.0 and it doesn't throw any codes
