local paint shop or engine paint. If you really want to go all out maybe look into powder coating.

more than a can of good paint get your self a good brand engine enamel in the color you want the good stuff requires baking which you can do in your oven, smells a bit though, and its almost as good as P.C. but for like 10$

rustoleum engine enamel works fine, you don't need to buy that expensive bake on shit.

just the rustoleum engine enamel in the color of your choice, and properly prepare and degrease the surface to be painted.

Ill pry talk to some people about getting them powder coated I want it too look professional and not rattle canned.

i did that with rustoleum, it looks incredible.

the 500 degree high gloss engine enamel, i used ford red and old ford blue.

i ran over the top of the color coat with a coat of clear engine enamel then baked it for a half hour at 400 degrees.

turned out awesome.

you can make spray can paint jobs look great as long as you use good quality paint and follow the instructions

maybe send them to get chrome plated. If you dont know where a chrome shop is, talk to a motorcycle shop, or a guy at a autoparts store, usually one of the two will know a good local shop, thats how i found one near me. Also, there is a new thing i heard about that is powdercoating but is supposed to look like chrome, but i hear it is pricy

Compared to a can or two of Rustoleum, everything else is crazy-expensive.
If you take the time, as Heptofite has shown us, You can make it look really nice for like $10-$15, and the paint should last longer than the engine.
