Aerostar 4X4

I like the pic of the kids in the window. Coolest dad ever ???

Sabra is the one in the red jacket. She is almost 3 years old. She kept getting out of her seatbelt to look out the window to see the tires spin. She's the boy of the group. I've got one of every flavor, Drama Queen, Princess, Terrorist, Terrorist in training, and one no one will ever figure out. + two new ones. RB

Right on man. :icon_thumby: The one of you winching that grand is classic.

LOL !!!! I have two daughters that are 14 and 16. 2 12 year old nieces and 5 nephews. I know EXACTLY what you're talking about and love every one of them!!! LMAO !!!

Wow, that looks great! I'm new to the RS and its hip to see others projects. Espeically one's that think outside of the box. Myself I'm going the street rod direction converting a `87 2wd as a frame donar and sticking in a 351W/C4 setup which eventually will set under a `55 F100 with a fiberglass one peice nose tilt. This will all be quite interesting since I'm one of those "self taught mechanic wanta be's". This is my second mid fifthies F100 project and any knowledge shared on placing a Windsor in a Ranger frame would be of great help. Anybody out there?

Now you need to work on the rear bumper and quarters. I was very tempted to take my '87 snowwheeling yesterday. I was out to the playground and my trucks are snowplowed in. There is about twenty acres of untouched snow though. It was late and I was tired or I would have.
I take it the Claws work good in the snow. Apparently they worked better back wards then the Jeep with them mounted forward?

Things have been slow at work and my pay reflects it right now so I'll have to wait till things pick up before i'll have the cash to buy some 3" square tubing for the rockers and then I has thinking like 1x6 tubing for the rear bumper.
The guy with the grand has bias claws and mine are radials. His are mounted regular and mine reverse. He says backwards don't work but on my van it does better forward than reverse. I'm thinking about turning them around to see if it then goes backwards better than forward, then I'll know for sure. RB
