The Blessing is May 3rd and 4th. We built a cement staircase today and it should be a real challenge to climb. I'm not sure the Broncostar will make it. We will be working on it from now till then so that's my new address for now.We have snow in spots but it's mostly gone. RB

I got one rocker put together but not painted or installed yet.

We have a Pastor come in and Bless the 4 wheeling season just like the Blessing of the bikes. We used to then go out in the woods and wheel but the forest service put a halt to that so now we build a master drivers course and every year it changes. Go to cadillacjeepers.com for more info. RB

Cool idea. DNR shut us down at our local place a few years ago too. Killed our little club.

Kinda hate to see that van wrinkled.

We invited the DNR to speak at the blessing. To me it's like letting the Fox in the hen house, but maybe they will stay off our back. The DNR and forest service are out to shut down the whole state of MI and are doing a great job at it. In my eyes private parks will be the only place to wheel in 2 years and if we dont start building them we wont be wheeling at all. I personally dont have any problem with erosion and dont see it as a problem, I think we are making something out of nothing. I would love to keep the van dent free but wheeling a 124" wheel base is a real challenge. I built them rocker guards last week and they are already in need of some major work. RB

you need to setup a little web page with all your specs, so i can nominate you for TOTM!!

If you go to my webshots page the entire build has photos and all the photos have a description of the build. It would take a while to go through all of the photos because it was a year long build, but it's all there. 166 photos right now. RB

When we finished the master driver course for the blessing we had a sand hole/hill that non of our rigs could climb and no one would drive down it because it was basically 20' straight down and everyone thought you would endo when the bumper hit the bottom, so I thought the Bronco star would be the best rig to run down it. So I drove down it and my stinger would rub the sand coming down into the bottom but it did it.Then a couple guys got in with me including some from the national guard. So then I was trying to climb up out of it with no luck and I couldnt climb out of the hole so it was do or be winched out so I decided to come out the side of the hole which was about 15' vertical and when I came out I had about 4' of air under the whole van! There was people there with video camera's but i havent seen the video nor can I remember who did it but i'm sure I'll see it sooner or later. It was a blast! Might have been the beginning of the end of the axle shaves. RB
