Adding interior LED 4 strip kit

Has anyone added a RGB LED inteior light kit such as the one I'm posting below? I would like to do an add-a-fuse and have the kit power on with the key on ignition, parking lights or headlights. I dont want to tie up the outlet as it will be used for a cell phone charger. I tried using fuse #11 in the fuse dash panel of my 2001 Ranger, but it eventually caused a drain on the battery. So, if you’re not in too much of a hurry… I’m about to be doing some electrical stuff to my green Ranger including adding lights or at least the wiring for them in the next few weeks along with a bunch of other stuff

I am not in a hurry, I just took the ones out that I had installed, and hooking them directly to a power source, they were dead. Junk I suppose. Anyway, I ordered a different brand (Govee) and will install them eventually. I'll follow your lead when you get around to it @lil_Blue_Ford I appreciate your help!
