Doing a V8 conversion (LS),, just sold my 4.0 pulled it yesterday working on details in my engine bay waiting on my engine to be here tomorrow.. I cut it with a 6 inch cut off wheel on a grinder the roughed out some thin probably 20 gauge .pop rivets ,screws and tack welds to attach it,got some grind marks about an inch down around the perimeter ,cut a bunch of 1 inch squares of fiber glass mat combined it with WEST MARINE 2 part epoxy on the perimeter and seams then bondo ,,probably finsh it with a catalyzed under coat.figure it will look rhino ed..

May sound like alot of work but I dont think Il have more the 3 hours into it

Well done sir [emoji482] I had to do mods to keep my heater also . But not as thorough as you lol . New 3 inch hole to core in the firewall and 90 intake tube worked for me lol . Definitely a better job and definitely better looking than mine LOL
