Ac clutch relay

I have a 2004 Ranger xlt with a 3ltr engine
The position in the relay box (46A) where I have been told the relay for the AC clutch is, has No receptors for a relay? (Empty slots,no wiring connection ) is it possible that my truck is using the relay for the 2.3 ltr engine (56A ) ?

Your 8th digit in your VIN should be a U if it originally came with a 3.0

2.3 would be a D

4.0 would be a E
