Don't get louder, improve your argument.
Why would the ABS light come on after losing traction? Example: it's raining here and I like to floor it from a stop to break traction. The ABS light comes on and doesn't reset until I turn engine off.

Is that its intended function?

It sees the rear wheels moving and the front wheels not moving, or moving much slower, and assumes there is a sensor fault. If you pull the codes you will probably get signal missing codes for the two front wheels, or signal mismatch, since it sees the rear wheels going 30-40 MPH and the front wheels barely moving, and the G switch agrees that you are barely moving.

I'd say this is normal.
