About to start front suspension rebuild

That's the pump straining against the bump stops. Perfectly normal for Fords. If it does it all the time you have problems. That noise is the reason people convert to EPAS or use a different pump.

What about the other knocking noise, when the engine is not running and I am twisting the steering wheel back and forth you hear a hit or knock sound (when the vid starts). Is the steering rack shot?

Sounds like something with play in it. Hard to say, how are your tie rod ends? Really need someone else to wiggle the steering while you inspect from top to bottom to find what's loose.

I just finished front suspension job new UPA, LCA new bushings, inner/outer tie rods, ball joints, sway bar links, shocks. All was good after a road test. But I didn't wiggle the steering wheel then, I can't say of this knocking sound was still there or not. I will get someone to assist.

As to the seals, if you are going to have it all apart to replace the front crankshaft seal, you might as well replace the auxiliary shaft and camshaft seals. You'll have to take the timing belt off anyway, so it's a good opportunity to replace it even if it looks okay. And the timing belt pulley and tensioner.
