I have seen a few people/channels online praising the very affordable 2150 carburetor being sold on Amazon. As far as I can tell, these have been around a few years now, as I was just reading a thread on here referencing them from 2019.

That was 6 years ago.

What is the consensus about the Amazon carburetor after the honeymoon period expires? Do they leak? Do they require modding? Are they are any long term quality issues to be weary of? I understand the venturi isn't quite the 1.08 the RSBVs prefer...

May not be not asking for a friend, maybe.

I havent ran the 2150 but i have ran chinese amazon carbs on various small engines. They range from total junk (majority) to acceptable.

Hell the one i put on my K582 on my yazoo mower dont even have an idle speed screw. I had to put a marker mark on the throttle control so if someone else runs it they wont idle it down to far.

Sounds like my experience with. I got one for an old Briggs single that looked great. The hole for the main jet wasn't drilled all the way thru. It was drilled and tapped far enough to put the jet in, but with a small amount of material over it.
