If they can actually sell them at the price they claim, they will sell a lot of them. They claim “under $20K”. The cheapest EV right now is the Nissan leaf at $29,xxx.
I paid $25K for one of my SxSs… and I can’t drive it on the street. It cost around $20K to rent a house out on the island for a month in the summer.

The caveat in the price given was the money you get from the government for buying an EV. So, before that, it is probably closer to the price of a Leaf.

The solid color of the plastic panels all rhe way through would be a plus for those who are horrible with taking car of their cars.

Plastic panels seemed to work ok for Saturn. But I will note and point out that they were the only ones who did it, other than Corvette and exotics (I view fiberglass and carbon fiber as a form of plastic). So, maybe there was issues that never really got talked about and thus why no mass production vehicle company, other than Saturn did it.

The stripped down aspect has it's attraction for me, though it seems the main market likes their gadgets and electronics. So, that may hamper success.

Time will tell if it is a success or a dud.

You cant street legal your SxS?

Must be a state thing. You can here. Actually alot of the counties allow quads on the road as long as you have ORV stickers and stay off the state/federal roads.

There are only a few states that SxSs are street legal.

To be honest I think this is a lot closer to what the newest rangers should have been vs what they are.

99% targeted to fleets and daily bop around commuters. Like we’re seeing with the mavericks.

The mavericks have been super successful.

I was contemplating putting a reservation on one. It would work great for me as a daily, I commute about 50 miles a day, and don't really need anything fancy. my DD now is a 2003 TDI Jetta with close to 300k on it. Still running good, but starting to get enough extra rattles and needs shocks and bushings. Just not sure how much room the cab has, I'm on the taller side and I remember how much fun it was getting in a regular cab Toyota or 1G Ranger.
