I have no idea what your message code is trying to say.

I somewhat regularly get a spam group text claiming that I have unpaid or outstanding tolls. Just the fact that it was sent as a group text is enough to sound the scam alarm, the language doesn't help their case. Then there's the fact that I haven;t been on a tool road in over a decade, I don't have a pass account, and (if I did owe outstanding fees) a text message is not legally acceptable communication.

My spam filter does a good job of removing them, the only part about them that bothers me is when other reciepients in the group that start responding. Not only does it annoy me with alerts, it shows a hit in that group of numbers, so the scammers keep sending to it.

I got one of these texts before it was a large known scam....maybe last summer? I dont remember....

But i did reply "go f*** yourself" and evidently they did cause i never got another

I got one the other day, claiming that I owed PA Turnpike tolls. I don’t remember the last time I was on a PA Turnpike. It was surprisingly well worded other than being a little over the top on threats. Problem is, it was sent from a phone number with a 63 country code… I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that’s not legit. It got reported.

Yep, that's basically the same one I've been getting, except they don't claim a state. Haven't gotten any with out of country codes... yet.
