A large explosion

That wasn't a backfire. It was an exhaust explosion!

Open a photobucket account, its free and post the url's from it here after you upload the pictures there. Thats the only way I do it. You can't post pictures here from A$$book.

What exhaust do you have? A poorly assembled DIY exhaust, or from a muffler shop that cuts corners could be to blame.

well it was only a 200 dollar or so exhaust so no it wasnt the greatest but all the welds are good and the bends are nice and uniform etc the muffler was certainly cheap i think im gonna take it back and just say i dont want a new muffler just weld me up a piece of pipe fill in the gap so its straight piped out the back and we wont have a problem. Does this sound reasonable to you guys? and i am right now not going to stop until these pics are up here

Well there it is AFTER being bent back so it wouldnt drag while driving this was a VERY large explosion that just tore this muffler in two. If i can think of a better shot ill get it and post it up.

Gas pooling...that is exactly what mine looked like all three times...if you could harness that power it would be like jet propulsion...

Nice!

On second thought, I'm going with mark? On this one with a messed up carb

Well i would agree but i dont think so. I think this all boils down to the shitty ignition which is something i still havent done due to not being able to find one. Ignition is ****ing the timing it misses and of course it doesnt care what goes out on the exhaust stroke so it just pumps pure gas in the exhaust. This is the explanation i got from my friends ex mechanic dad. I was glad that someone was finally agreeing with me about the ignition being shit no one seems to believe me that these have a huge percentage failure rate. Update: im still rolling around with a very loud exhaust im not sure what to say to the exhaust shop what do you guys think?

Say "who the **** put a bomb in my truck! I want it fixed or I will talk to a lawyer!"

Or be like "yo Homes, that wack ass muffler you sold me was junk, dog. It like blew the f*ck up mang... You gon fix it right now or Ima bust a cap in yo ass!"
