So I have a couple conundrums, as stated in the title. 1) I have the body lift and want to get 33's, but eventually add another 3+ inches of lift and 35's. As far as gearing goes, do I need to change the front and rear gears with any tire change? I know I have 4.10 in the rear but no idea for the front. 2) I am not sure what to do about the rear diff. Right now only one wheel spins in a straight line but in low traction both spin. I want to get something that will provide power to both rear wheels on the road but free up easily for turning and everything. I don't go off roading alot so I dont need anything extreme but I dont want to do something that will take me off the road in heavy snow. I also am on a tight budget so that probably limits things. Anyways, the locker i can put off, I was just curious, but the gearing I wanted to figure out in advance so I don't f*ck anything up when I get bigger tires over the summer. Any help is appreciated.

You should have the same gears up front, or what ever Ford put. .01 difference +/-. What ever.

If you're broke like me, you can learn to live with 4.10s. The 4.0 won't have much of a problem and your mpg will go down a little.

If you really want the gear reduction to turn them well, I'd say 4.88s.

With 35s you might be lookin into 5.13s. Save yourself the money and only gear it once for your ultimate goal of tire size.

Make sure you re gear the front too or you'll bind and brake stuff.

For 35's you'll want 4.88s, and yes, re-gear both axles.

It sounds like you may have a limited slip in the rear which is nice, but you may want to look at an upgrade. Depending on your budget there are many options out there that are friendly on the street and fun on the trail when you do wheel it.

so i read the axle info, apparently i'm running the open 8.8 with 4.10's. im thinking of putting in a lock right. anyone used one/think it would be benifitial?

I don't know about a "lock-right" but I have ran mini-spools and true lockers.... never had an issue out of any of them.

Eaton has one out (I put it in my Camaro) it's clutchless, and will let you turn without eating the tires.... it clicks like hell when you turn sharp, but at the first sign of spin or get in a straight line it locks right up. It's truelly a great unit.
