Front bumper didn't give much it actully bent the frame horns and tore the 4inch c-channel mounts that held it on but i still pulled it home by it.

So yeah i truck is messed and i'm sad and depressed. I was driven home from my g/f's house last night around 1:30am. I comen down this road doen about 45 50 the speed limit is 45 so i wasn't really speeden, roads weren't slippery. I come around this corner look ahead about 30ft at a drive way, see lights then i see a full size chevy 1500 ext. cab come flyen down it. I went sh!t that guys not stoppen so in like the 2secounds i had to make a choice, that felt like a i had 5 min. I debated on taken on some trees or a big bank on the other side. So i umm. cram the brakes try to steer towards the bank and behind him well he turns sharp slides side ways i meet him almost head on driver side to driver side at like 45 ish. All i remember is kissen the steering wheel and watchen my head lights get real bright as i hit the truck.

Then i get out hes like man u ok don't call the cops don't call the cops. I'm like y the hell shouldn't I. Hes all like its ok i'll pay for this i have money so i'm like u put 4 grand cash in my hand in the next 20 min i won't say a word. Then hes like sure ok i'll call my dad now. My face is dripping blood it was poopy. Then 2 of his buddys show up i watch them pull a deer and some guns out of the back of the the truck. then he hops in his truck and trys to drive it away w/ his driver side tire flat and tilted in like 40 deg. i can't follow them really so i ran after him yellen at him to stop. tryed openen the door but it was locked in a fit of rage i busted out his window w/ my elbow and tryed ripe him out of the truck while going like 5mph. i fell on my ass watched him drive away. call 911 they showed up cops drove around found the truck abondond like 5 miles down the road. I used a pry bar drove it home got about half way maybe 2 miles it clunked out acted like it was runnen out of gas. towed it home the rest of the way w/ my buddys truck.

So now i'm waiting for them to catch the kid b/c um yeah i'm gona get me some money. so i can buy me a new truck.

I got a buddy sellen an 01 f250 7.3 for 9 grand w/ only a 120,000 on it. so i'm going to shoot for that then i will rebuild my truck it will live again.

You should let us know when the Police track the kid down and probably deny busting his window.

Glad your ok, sorry about your truck. I'm still in the market for another Ranger myself, as some other coward in a semi ran me off the road, and I flattened mine, but landing on your roof doing 90km will do that. Glad you'll get something out of the truck. The guy never stopped in my case and all I could tell RCMP was it was white, and big. I had $13000 into mine and it was going to be appraised 10 days after it happened, so even insurance, if I did deal with them I would have only of got $1000. Sucks that they took off, after writing off your truck, but at least yours is salvageable, the only things that I could salvage off mine were 3 of 4 tires, the drivers seat, the tool box in the back, and the shifter knob. Get better soon, and hope to see that you still hang around here, even with the lack of Ranger.

he called a tow truck driver before he took off. Well an unhappy tow truck driver showed up and was pissed when no one was there after he drove 30 min but he had the kids cell number. the cops found out where he lives but no one is home and his phone is off. But if i do find out where he lives. well lets just say I sad i'd get my money one way or other.

When they say "don't call the cops", a very good thing to do is "CALL THE COPS".

I hope they find the guy and make him pay up. Its a good thing that they did choose to run. It could have been worse. They could have f*cked you up more. And a good thing luck was on your side, his truck broke down. I'm sure the police could at least pull a finger print or ID on the truck.

i would really talk to the cops and get this tard, if they got his adress and cell, they should be able to put a warrent out for his arrest. also if you want your money file a settlement, im shure the cops will give you his name. idk what you state law is, but i think hitting you (Feloney) running the stop sighn (small ticket) and then fleeing a accadent (Feloney) so if hes caught hes in deep doo doo, im not 100% on those for your state, but im pretty shure thats the law here in colorado

I got screwed with the last accident I was in. Bodyshop botched the repair on the truck which should have been totalled, insurance blamed me for the wreck cuz I got a ticket that was later dismissed, and then I got cut off of medical before I was recovered. Which means I have back problems and internal knee damage.... and I'm 24.
