99 ranger face lift

Thanks guys! and yes those are 35's. Hoping to install the 63's and the traction bar in the rear soon. I really want to make my own track bar but I might just buy one instead. Any recommendations?

I have been looking into the Ruff stuff traction bar kit. It comes with every thing u need and all u have to do is make a crosmember to attach it to.

I was looking at those as well. I think our gas tanks are going to get in the way of the new crossmember though. Might be alittle tricky.

Suppose to go to Hollister Hills on Sunday. That means a long night at the shop tonight getting ready. Limit straps, grade 8 bolts, new steering box, mount my steering stabilizer, Gusset and grind on my Pan arm bar Bracket.

I went and had my tires swapped out onto my steel rims and got the alignment done. Truck still isn't handling like it should. Hopefully replacing my box and mounting a stabilizer shock on the front helps.

can't wait to see some pictures from Hollister with this thing!

I'm planning on rebuilding and tapping my current steering box for Hydro assist. Any of you guys no much about this? I know how to tap the box and hook it up. My main worry is my power steering pump. Thank it needs to be upgraded?

I hear mixed reviews.....Might as well try your current pump. If its a small cylinder then you may sneak by on the stock pump.

both stock ones on my ranger and explorer went kaput. I think the later model ones were not as horrible as the earlier ones

SO! I was on my way to the shop yesterday to mount limit straps and do a couple other odds and ends when my passenger side front baring's decided to go out. Ruined my spindle and my hub. looks like I'll be at the junk yard on Sunday instead of Hollister.

looks like Hollister will have to wait till next weekend.

That sucks man!! Was hoping to see some pics of her in action!! If u cant find any 8 bolt hubs i have a cople laying around that im not using u can have, dont know what shipping would be.

Thanks, I spent all fawking day looking for a hub and spindle. No junk yards around here has one at this time. I found them new but there expensive. Might have to bite the bullet and spend the money. That would be cool if you have what I need though. I need the part of the hub that is connected to the rotor. The front race for the barring's wallowed out the inside of the hub. I'll pm you if I don't find anything on Monday. I'll buy them off you and pay the shipping.

I WILL get to wheel this thing someday. Maybe next Sunday if I get the parts

Yesterday wasn't a total loss at the junk yard. I did pick up another steering box to tap for hydro.

But to top off my problem, I just found out that Hollister is closed next weekend due to top truck challenge... GREAT!:bawling::thefinger::annoyed:

Any luck finding the parts u need?

I just spent the cash and bought them new. should be here by next week. Thanks a lot for the offer though. Appriciate it.

Off to Idaho next week to attend a wedding so Hollister will have to wait till I get back. It will happen though and I promise to take lots of pictures and some video's.

Sweet pickup man! I have an '01 Edge that is just asking to be built up... No welding equipment (yes I can actually perform the task) or shop though. Would have to drive two hours to my mother's house just to use the proper setup. Wanna make it pre-runner style and actually race it. As of now, it sits in the driveway and plays at the beach every once in a while. Yes it runs... just ran through and changed out MANY components on the motor.

Anywho, love your rig man!
