SUCCESSS! exhaust bolts are out. Only one broken bolt. Tranny should be coming out in a couple of days and then the fun stuff. Making the new one work. Anyone out there have a tranny harness for a 98-2000 ranger 4.0 5speed manual. Ford discontinued the part so I can't get it new unless I by a wiring harness for the whole engine. Its only $500.

How's it goin Kevery? Have you been driving the green beast much??? How are you liking your trans? How is your steering doing? I just put high steer in mine and its night and day difference!!! no more choppy steering/hard spots.

It's a lot more fun to drive. Handles good as expected. Looks like I might be moving back to Shaver soon. Have to go wheeling at bald or something sometime.

So I finally did the 63" leaf spring swap. It sits level now. Not sure I like it. When I made my shackles I made them adjustable. Glad I did. Also want to take a couple of leafs out. So that will lower the rear a little.

Just how tall if is. It's pretty stiff now too. Makes for a bumpy ride. I can fix that by removing leaves though.

Oh ok I gotchya. Are your shocks the correct length now or are they too short? I mounted mine on top of the axel at a angle when I did the swap.

3/16" and 1/4" everything but the skid plate is 3/16". The mounts are 1/2"
