99 4.0 attached to a 4r44e swap into a 95 2.3 with a m50d and ttb

need help with pats

i got the motor in but it wont crank. mostly everthing hooked up. at this moment i have the 99 4.0 in with 99 wiring, 99 computer and all the 99 sensors. engine wiring harness is plugged into my 95 body wiring harness. have automatic shifter mechanism all bolted up to my 95 steering column. i have the whole steering column from the 99 sitting to the side. need to know if i can wire in the transceiver thru my 95 body wiring to send a signal to the 99 ecu.

also i cant find where to clip in a switch that i dont know what it is unless it is a park/nuetral saftey switch that is pushed in when the shifter is in park. it has three wires coming out of it. i believe the colors are orange/green/and maybe gray. i have to check on that. also i have read something about a jumper on automatics that plug into the clutch saftey switch. is that what i think is the nuetral saftey switch suppose to plug into?

one more thing. does anyone know how many parts are to the pats system. did i need to take the rad out of the 99.

its finally done. i had to buy a 96 for the wiring harness computer trany and rad. but runs and drives tits(just have a check engine light). the v6 with 35's are a perfect match with the 4.56. also pretty good gas mileage(surprising) well heres a pick to enjoy>

How did you hook up the pats?? Did you have to install the steering column? Im working on a similar swap, its a 99 4.0 and my truck is a 2000 ranger no pats, I cant figure how to make it start, im stuck with the pats wiring.

i worked around that by getting a 96 wiring harness and computer and went back to a standard. from my understanding theres 3 parts of the pats, the transceiver for the key chip, a box somewhere under the fender(forgot what its called) and the ecu, once you have all three hooked up it should start. i gave up on the pats because i already sent the 99 to the junk yard not knowing about the box

heres a link to my sas swap thread too
