Whats everyone runnin SAS wise on the 98-00 Ranger? Whats your specs as far as axles/tires/wheels/lift...The whole nine yards!!! Any suggestions towards the process?State whether you daily drive it, specifically wheel it or both. POST PICS! Point of this post is just to see what is out there with the 98-00 models and how was it done where other members looking into the SAS as an option can get an idea of what there working with and whether its worth it or not. Only one rule:

1: Suggestions to other members are ok but please NO FLAMING tellin people how stupid they are or whatever!

Just bought axles from a '74 IH Travelall. HP D44 with 4.88 gears. No pics just yet. Daily driver.

You sure thats a driversdrop HPD44 and not a passenger drop LPD44? (you might have it upsidedown, which would make it appear HP and driversside drop) Scouts were passenger drop as far as I know.
 
Mine isnt done, but it should be wheelable this year (fingers crossed) :thefinger:

Yea man, i know its taken you a while but your gonna have one of the nicer setups on here and i cant wait to see it!!!
 
Hopefully ill get mine started here before the summer, just lookin for the parts and all now...Collecting the parts and cleaning them up getting em prepped is gonna take me a while but im gonna keep everyone updated

I actually moved back to Connecticut. I was going to school in boston, but Im done and have my degree so I moved back home to I can figure out what Im doing. I live about an hour and half from boston now.
 
Here is my 98. Obviously its not done but hopefully by may.

Specs are high pinion D44 front welded 5.13s RE 4.5" XJ coils 1.5" od DOM Radius arms with ballistic fab coil bucket RA brackets.
Full Hydro. The fronts been moved 7 inches forward. Going to move the rear forward also to end up at about 115" wb.
8.8 rear with a true trac chromo shafts 5.13s 63" Chevys


How i got it. Rolled by a 16 year old he was ok. (sorry crappy pic)
