97 reg cab trail rig build

They told me it was a 96 when I bought it, turns out it's a 98 which means it has the gt40p heads which won't work with most swap headers if I'm correct. If so I might buy a cheap set of aluminum heads for it. Since its a 98 the harness won't work? Is it because of PATS?

I'm on the hunt for a t-case too that'll bolt behind the 4r70w and preferably be manual shift
