97 F-350 Powerstroke Tow Rig (Non-RBV)


well i am having a slight turbo issue right now , it seems that the Back Pressure Control Valve is stuck shut and the thing has no power , gonna double check tomorrow and then figure out where to get a new one
 
well i haven't updated this in a while , i got the truck at home now , and the only problems i have now is a couple blown lights and a bad fuel gauge

here is a list of what i have replaced so far
-Batteries
-Front Pads , Rotors , Calipers , Bearings and Seals
-2 Roof Lights

Work i have Done
-Removed the goofy extension off the rack
-in the process of making the rack removeable

Work to be done
-LED Lights
-7 Pin Connector and Brake Controller
-Reese 5th Wheel/Gooseneck hitch system
-Repaint
-Replace Box Door Handles
-Stacks
-Aluminum Wheels
-Shackle Mounts
-Anything Else i find along the way

i made some progress today , but i am having a charging system issue , and i am all out of ideas , so it is going to a shop run by a guy i call the "Electrical God" , and i am going to a place tomorrow to see about the 7 pin connector and the reese system for in the bed

i still have the entire driver side , tailgate and rear window to go
 
nice lookin truck, you gunna pull off those wheels and paint em or atleast clean em up (just add it to the list right. haha)

actually if ya read the list i am gettin a set of 4 aluminum rims for it ( only outer for the rear ) instead of runnin the steelies
 
oh yeah thinkin about it if you leave the service body on make one compartment an insulated beer cooler!!!

not quite bling , but they will look better than the steelies , and i couldnt beat $400 for 4 aluminum rims of that size

radio wires all sorted out , i have spare factory ends for them

brake controller my stepdad gave me , has the factory Ford adapter harness attached to it , and i just found the other one he had with the adapter harness , plus we have 2 spare adapter harnesses

my towing setup , i still have to run the brake controller wire and the 12V hot wire to the 7-Way plug wiring

i still have one more down at storage , my drivetrainless 2000 Extended Cab , plus i have the 84 Mustang Droptop . and my stepdad has an 08 F250 , and our worktruck that we have to get fixed is a 95 F-SuperDuty with a Powerstroke , and mom drives a Merc Sable , no one would ever guess we are a FoMoCo family

Is that drop top a GT? My kind of family right there!! I can't be sure the year but the early Superduties had a recall on the front bumper brackets... Word is they fell off seems like...

unfortunantly the Droptop is only an LX , no options whatsoever , but it has 67k original miles and i paid $1000 for it

and the super duty is the old school superduty , the trucks that are cab chassis only , basically a F-450 but without the number
