hey, i just purchased a 96 ranger 4x4 completely stock in need of new tires like yesterday... i want to put the biggest tires on it as possible. i have heard that 31x10.5r15's will fit but i need to be sure before i make this purchase any thoughts?

Yep, 31s will fit. Many of them, including mine, came stock with 265/75r15s stock which is the same as a 31x10.5. I ran 31x10.5s on mine for about 60,000 miles before I lifted it and went to 33x12.50s.

31s will fit. My front springs sagged a little and I still fit 31s no problem.

I run 31's on my 97 4x4, you could even squeeze 32x10.50x15's if you trim your inner fender, they may rub on the frame a little when turned to lock though
