95 won't start from time to time...

95 4 banger with about 212,000 miles.
Engine runs OK most of the time.
But from most of the time after a quick short 1 mile or so trip, it will not start back up. Drive about 1 mile and turn the engine off run into the store. About 4 minutes later try to start it back up... and it will not fire. Starter motor turns the engine, but no fire. Wait about 10 minutes and it will start.
Any thoughts are welcome and thanks in advance.

man its a real vauge issue, but check the fuel filter, then the plugs,,, 1 of 2 things are not happing, no fuel or no spark.

If you can re-create the issue, then check for both fuel and spark, it'd be easier to narrow down the problem and possible causes.

listen for the fuel pump when you turn the key on. If that is running ok and the filter isn't clogged it is more than likely is a spark issue.
