Hey guys I installed a xenon 35w 6000K HID kit into my 95 ford ranger and the lights turn on every time... But the brights don't come on. The brights light on my gauge cluster does not even come on. So far I've tried to reverse the blue and Brown wires but that did nothing.

Any suggestions?? Would adding relay do anything?

Did you buy a Hi/Lo kit or just a 35w single beam kit?

It's a high/lo kit where It's a single bulb but then the bulb pushes inwards and outwards

You can't properly convert to HID.

It is a h13-3 bulb

You can't properly convert to HID.

Any specific reason as to why you're saying this?

There is no F-DOT approved street legal conversion kit. That makes them illegal everywhere in the states.

Anyway, HIDs change from high to low by physically moving the position of the bulb to change how the beam leaves the lens.

The hi beam indicator in your dash may not recognize the high position. Make sure you have the motor wired correctly and that is actually works.

Would a relay solve the problem?

It's a brand New kit idk why the motor wouldn't work... As for the wiring I tried reversing the blue and brown wire but then the lights wouldn't even turn on.

Get a picture of the bulbs, harness, ballast, and wiring if you can

unplug the ballast and plug them back in, then try it..

don't ask, just try.

If your kit was hi/lo then it should say Bi-Xenon, not just Xenon on the box.
