95 Ranger/95Explorer guage swap

I just did a instrument cluster swap 95 E to 95 R and everything is working perfect.. The cluster came from a 95 Explorer v6 auto and I have a 95 5spd I4...
Speedometer checked out rpm/mph ,2500rpm=71 mph with 3.45 rear and 14" tires ...

nice. I was thinking about swapping the white instrument cluster and 6 disk cd changer from a Sportrack into my white '01 Ranger. The Sportrac is a 2wd auto and mine is 4x4 standard so I wasnt sure if it would work.

Been looking for one for my ranger from an 03 sports trac and no luck at the junk yards.

i thought you couldnt swap a cluster from a v6 into an I4??
