95-97 4wd Short Course Tuff Truck Build

Sorry I usually get pics alot quicker, but my wife and I are getting divorce and she took digital camara, but I just bought myself a new digital camara today so I can get some pics, the truck has came long ways from how it was.

Yes truck will be caged forsure..

I'm gonna run Bronco 2 tank in the rear, and will have spare tire mounted on rear, battery in the rear. Rear bumper., So figured the Race pack is whats needed since tank is in the rear??

Progress is being made, my purple crawler is donating its cab and headers, L&L Mounts, Oilfilter kit, radiator. The rest of it will reincarnate into explorer sport LOL

With a 32 gal fuel cell at the end of the frame rails and two spares, I'd run a race pack.. But probably with a leaf taken out and a little more arch built into the pack.

I'd reccommend plating in the drop brackets, coil buckets and radius arms. Anything offroad will brake/fail at one point

The drop brackets aren't so much the problem.. Its the cross member they attach to. I'd personally do a cut and turn TTB setup. You will love the extra ground clearance and the steering will be half way decent in stock configuration. Plus, setting up cross over steering will be a breeze later on..

If you aren't sure on how to do a cut and turn TTB pm me. It will take you 2 hours tops since your front end is already off.

Yes that true.. I think dave @threat is having a sale on them and radius arms like 750-800 for them?

Yeah he is or was.. I believe the thread starter should be able to handle the task. It kind of sucks that he's all the in MO. I couldn't imagine shipping core beams..

yea guys I do want to do cut and turned beams, but for now I had this stuff, I will wait and do that when ready to go TTB dana 44 and make the whole thing wider :)

Oooh, I like this thread! Subscribed. :headbang:

Hoping to get chance tonight to work on Finishing installing twin I beam. I think I have everything needed.

I may have missed it but what are you running for shocks? Just a 2.5 smooth body or bypass's?

I'm not sure yet what shocks to run, affordibility is a little bit of an issue, just to get it rolling I have Duff 70/30 shocks, but thats nothing real special, something with some adjustment would be nice. But that is an aera I need to do alot more research.
